Will the company's references change? |
As ERIKS SAS will take over the activities of ERIKS Flexibles & Raccords on January 1, 2023, all contractual obligations of these activities will be transferred from this date and our legal references will evolve: you will have to register the information of ERIKS SAS as a new account in your system.

Are the ERIKS item numbers changing? |
Yes, our item numbers will be numeric and 8 digits long, following a new increment linked to SAP. |
Will customer SKUs be visible? |
Yes, your internal article references, if known beforehand, will be included in all our documents, order form, delivery note, label on parcel, invoice, credit note… |
Will the customer order references be visible? |
Yes, your order number will be present in the header of the documents mentioned above. |
What will happen to the old ERIKS article references in the catalogs? |
The ERIKS catalog references will be kept in the new assortment but with a new 8-digit numbering. Our old references can be used for research in this new numbering. |
Will the numbering of the documents be changed? |
Yes, the numbering will now be on 10 digits, following a new incrementation linked to SAP. |
Your relationship with ERIKS
Does the contact person for orders change?
No, you will still have the same contact persons for sales, technical and administration, and we will keep our e-mail addresses and telephone numbers.
What will be the treatment of the current orders?
Orders not delivered by January 1, 2023, registered in the old system, will be migrated to SAP and will be processed after the start-up, within the timeframe initially planned.
Will customer specific labels still be available?
Yes, customer specific labels (logo, barcode...) will be available in the new system.
Will the pricing/settlement conditions change?
No, the tariffs, shipping costs and your payment conditions will be kept with the validity dates (according to our acknowledgement of receipt).
What changes in the management of certificates?
We keep a management of the certificates with specific article codes, which must be requested from the order, and which can be invoiced according to the type of certificate or associated control.
What will happen to the EDI relationships?
Existing EDI relationships are taken into account and will be operational from the start.
Are there any delivery difficulties at the time of the change?
As with any launch, a slight drop in productivity is to be expected in the first week due to the deployment of the new ERP and the learning curve of the employees. But these disruptions will be very limited in time thanks to a complete training plan and a SAP configuration already tested in the other ERIKS entities.

Why change ERP, why SAP?
The ERIKS Group is a specialized industrial service provider offering a wide range of technical products, co-engineering and customization solutions, and related services. Specializing in fluid technology, sealing, industrial plastics, power transmission and tooling, ERIKS, with 5,000 employees in 15 countries, serves 90,000 industrial customers worldwide.
The sharing of know-how, customer applications, products and information between the group companies enables us to offer our industrial customers a wide range of high-quality components and innovative solutions.
This sharing is based on the generalization of unified management tools in the companies of the ERIKS group. The 3 French entities of the group each use a different ERP. Eventually, all these entities will switch to SAP, the system chosen by ERIKS. We will then have a robust and efficient system to work as one company with our more than 10,000 industrial customers in France.
On January 1, ERIKS Flexibles et Raccords will be switched to SAP, which will allow us to harmonize our activities with the main entity ERIKS SAS.
How did you prepare the implementation of SAP?
It was above all a team effort involving Dutch, Belgian and French teams. The project group in France was reinforced by SAP specialists from ABYLSEN. The Go-Live has been prepared for over a year. It was not a question of inventing a new solution since Happy Template, the SAP configuration specific to ERIKS, is already being used successfully in the ERIKS entities in Belgium, Holland and also in France, within the main entity ERIKS SAS, regrouping the head office, the Service Centers and the Business Units Gaskets, Sealing & Polymer, Valves & Instrumentation. We are therefore deploying an already well-proven solution with the necessary specificities to adapt it to our customers and our organization in France.
